Since I've been tagged twice now I thought I'd better get this done. :) It was a bit difficult but also a lot of fun...
10 things we SPLURGE on...
1. Home Decor- I have to say this because Rod Works is my favorite store ever!! And the porch swing that came from there was definitely a splurge!!
2. Winder Dairy Milk- yes we have a milkman...We just love the taste of the fresh milk that comes from winder dairy. Even the fat free milk is really good (and white too, not that blueish gray color usually fat free milk has.
3. Lawn Service- yes we have a lawn boy. I tease Chris all the time about it, but he claims he just doesn't have the time. He also gets bad allergies from mowing the lawn.
4. Plane tickets- with both our families living in Texas...it's either 2 days in the car or plane tickets. With Dodger being 2 now...we have to find really good deals!!
5. Christmas- I love getting other people gifts!!
6. Dinners- Mostly because I don't make dinner as often as I should. Also I won't buy cheap meat. That's gross!
7. Electronics- we have some pretty nice electronics around our house. I would have to say that is Chris though...I couldn't care less...but, enjoy it just as much as he does I'm sure.
8. Sheets- I can't have hard, cheap sheets. Has to be a high thread count.
9. Clinique- mostly because everything else makes me break out.
10. Jeans- Almost everyone's I have read has this on here. Every girl knows the importance of a good pair of jeans. I wish I could splurge on a good pair of jeans that would fit me perfect, but I usually end up going with gap or something cuz I'm afraid I would get an expensive pair home and then not like them or never wear them...So any suggestions on a good brand that won't dissapoint???
Okay on to saves...
1. KSL- I have to put this on #1 because Chris is the King of KSL. Anything we need or our looking for he goes right to KSL first. We have bought several things off of this wonderful website. (including our house)
2. Kids shoes/clothes- Walmart and payless for shoes. Target is the best for kids clothes.
3. Boys haircuts- Chris gives the boys haircuts at home and he cuts his own hair...Now if he could just figure out mine...that won't ever happen! ha ha!
4. Purses- most of mine come from Walmart or Target! But, if someone were to give me one as a gift, I sure wouldn't be turning it down!!
5. Generic brand medicine- We don't even buy the brand tylenol anymore...there is always a cheaper just as good option.
6. Furniture- We have gotten several peices from Big Lots including 2 couches and 2 loveseats!!
7. Cereal- We go through a ton of cereal at our house, so we just buy whatever is on sale.
8. My clothes- I cannot buy anything at regular price. I don't even look at it if it's not on sale. Especially having worked retail before...you know it's eventually gonna go on sale.
9. Accessories- I just don't spend a lot of money on these types of things.
10. My underwear- ha ha! I couldn't think of anything else. But, us LDS gals have it pretty good.
Okay hmmmm...who should I tag?? I'm gonna go with...Amy (I told you it was coming), Stephy Sue, and Christy....

Very cool list. It has been so much fun getting to know my fellow bloggers better by reading their lists. We should plan a trip to Rod Works, I've never been but I love their ads and your porch swing is awesome. As for the jeans, you should try the BKE brand at the Buckle. They have a lot of different fits and cuts and I've had a lot of success there. Also the Chip and Pepper C7P's at (my favorite) JC Penny are pretty great too.
ugh! okay!
Okay.. cool tag.. learned alot.. very informative.. let me tell you I am jean splurger.. and have found the right one despite the price.. but I wear them religiously so I have gotten my moneys worth.. here we go.. Seven Jeans.. and Lucky brand.. very nice.. if you want to go a little less but with a great fit.. try Ann Taylor loft jeans as well.. not to metion the run big so you can always get a smaller size.. that never hurts anyone!!! :) There you go!!!
Ok, I would have to agree with you on so many of those....especially the jeans!!!
I used to be a religious gap girl, but I have changed my ways. :) (It is still one of my favorites though) Someone else said BKE at buckle with I agree with. They are cute and fit almost everyone, although I am one of the few that they do not look good on!!!
My favorite is Big Star at buckle. A little more pricy, but it is hard for me to wear anything else now.
I was lucky to get most of my collection while working there last year at 40% off!!! :)
