I had the opportunity to go up to girls camp yesterday. I got to ride up with Cammie P. such an awesome funny chica. Anyways, when we first arrived they were doing the zipline. Something I have never done before...With butterflies in my stomach acting like somewhat of a weenie I decided it might be a once in a lifetime opportunity so I had better go for it...With all the girls and leaders cheering me on telling me I could do it...I got through it successfully and safely. phew! If we had gotten to go down it a few more times I'm sure I would have been hanging upside down and trying all sorts of fancy tricks like the other dare devil girls. Next we ate a yummy lunch and had crafts and sat around while everyone got there hair done and just chatted. Waiting on the bishopric to bring up dinner seemed to take hours upon hours. I thought for sure Cammie's watch was broken or we were stuck in some sort of time warp or something. The moment finally arrived...the bishopric showed up and were greeted with girls spastically spraying their hair pink...and we (the leaders) were served pizza from the girls. Anyways, the girls had seen two bears while up there. So, during the campfire festivites we hear a "ferocious beast" somewhere in the woods behind us. I was seriously scared out of my mind. We had our backs turned to the woods and it was so dark and we kept hearing sticks breaking and something rummaging through the woods, we never did see anything but Cammie and I had a plan in tact in case a bear or some other horrid creature came out from those woods. Well, we made it through one day of camp and that was plenty of fun for me it was nice to come back to a nice warm bed safe at home with no ferocious beast!!! Here are some pics from that very eventful day...

What a wonderful evening. It was very fun getting stuck in a time warp with you. The, "it's raining it's pouring...the old man is snoring" captions on the pictures cracked me up, as did the pink mustache man. I think I have a Girls Camp hangover, I'm feeling a little groggy today. Must have been the near starvation I suffered yesterday.
Can you email (cpollastro@msn.com)me the picture of me(and my under garments hanging out) on the zip line so that I may blog them on my blog (www.wildmeowzers.blogspot.com)
