Now, let me explain...When we were first married Chris got involved in a MLM (multi level marketing) scam. This company sold shampoo, water filters, vitamins, soap, all kinds of things which were all supposed to be environmentally friendly and safe. Anyways, the company ended up going under. Only we were stuck with cases and cases of shampoo that was supposed to have been sold by Chris. So, needless to say we have been washing our hair in this shampoo for about 7 years. Thank goodness it was pretty decent stuff. We are down to our last bottle and I am in search for a new shampoo. 7 years ago I was an herbal essence girl. Any suggestions on what is good? Tell me about your favorite shampoo...

LOL!!! We have some of that shampoo still...I still use herbal essence I think, the blue and orange bottles, its economy size at sam's.
So I am a cosmetologist and have used LOTS of different shampoos. My favorites are Matrix Sleek and Smooth and Redken Soft. Also I will always love the smell of Pantene - even though my fellow stylists would kill me for saying that! Really its not about the shampoo so much as it is the conditioner.
I still use herbal essence:) We use the purple bottle though and my mom likes the volumizing one!

I am with Stace on the Matrix products. I buy the Matrix Sleek and Smooth with the color protector conditioner. I'd say all Matrix products are good, they make the Biolage line too, which is my favorite smell.
