As most of you know Sundays have not been my favorite day of the week this past year. Yesterday when both Chance and Dodger went to their classes with minimal tears I could see a light. LOL! Chance has really great teachers! Thank goodness because for him the teachers really do make all the difference. The wife used to be a school teacher and she even brought in her guitar and sang with her class. How refreshing! Dodger will move to the older nursery in February but for now he is perfectly content (after about 5 minutes) in the younger one. We will see what happens when he has to move up. Also, Chris and I are now teaching the sunbeams which I am really excited about. I was ready for a change! It might be a challenge to get all of them to sit still for so long when they aren't used to it, but it's a challenge I'm ready to take on! So, Sundays are looking a little less stressful this year! Hopefully it stays that way!

awwwww yea for the boys! And I'm sure y'all will do a great job with the sunbeams!!
Cool!!! Did Chance get his CTR ring yet?
Yay for all of you! We missed the first Sunday in new classes due to Ted out of town and me so sick. We have yet to discover how it will be.
I bet the sunbeams are actually a step up from the beehives. Did I say that?
On our way home from church on Sunday Cali said, "It's cool that Chance is in my class. I am going to get to know him way better." I don't really know what that means, but I thought it was cute.
Carter also got an I Am A Child of God crown. But when I went to pick him up, it was on upside down (Like how TuPak used to wear his dew rag)and it had the name "Mekensie" written on it. Now that I think about it, that might deserve it's own blog post on my blog.

What do you mean you're excited about being called to the Sunbeams? You must have had the worst calling in the world before. What was it? Early morning seminary teacher? jk
I taught sunbeams about 5 years ago, but I had a pretty rough group, I think they're all in juvie now or something.
Go sunbeams! I wonder if Jake is in your class. We were out of town and I don't know what is going on these days. That should be fun teaching together.
You're so cute. Dorin is excited to be a sunbeam, we've been singing the sunbeam song all week.=) I don't know about the sitting still for 2 hours, but I think he did pretty good for his first day. =)
You will be a fun sunbeam teacher for sure. And if not - I'll know about it when Dom reports back to me! Seriously I am kidding. Abram and I taught the Sunbeams for about a year and it was really hard but mostly because the lessons only take 10 minutes at most and then we were left with all this time to fill. I am sure you will be more creative than I was. I am glad you are Doms new teacher. Hopefully he will be one of your good kids.
