Do I miss Utah?

I can't believe it's been a couple of months since my last post...I miss blogging!
We are all finally adjusting pretty well to our new surroundings and enjoying our family of 5 now! Chance started first grade and has an amazing teacher. Dodger started preschool 3 days a week from 9-2:30. They are both pretty much adjusted to their new schedules. I am enjoying some quiet girl time with Brylee 3 days a week for a few hours!
We've gotten a lot of people asking us if we miss Utah. Yes! We do...terribly at times. We miss our friends, good neighbors, the cleanliness of Utah, fall, and all the family activities Utah has to offer (not to mention the awesome shopping!) We have good neighbors here too, they just happen to all be in their 70's and 80's! But, we have already met some pretty awesome friends here too! While we miss our old life we have already had the opportunity to attend my nephews baptism, my niece and nephew's baby blessing, attend the temple with my nephew going through for the first time...(he reports to the MTC November 4th), we haven't all been in the temple together since my own endownments (we were only missing one sister). Also having a lot of both our families here for Brylee's blessing and the kids getting to hang out with their cousins more and strengthening that special bond with both sets of grandparents! All these things make moving and the many changes that come along with it well worth it!

The high school football team here is the Lufkin Panthers...HIGH SCHOOL football is a GINORMOUS deal here...the boys went to their first game on Saturday. Soon they will be bleeding purple like the rest of this town...LOL!
