Shopping...
We were all able to get some great shopping in and were able to hit all the hot spots that you just can't find anywhere else but Utah...Rod Works, Quilted Bear, Roberts, Material Girls, Distribution, Emergency Essentials, and of course shopping you can find other places...Deseret Book, Costco, Sam's, Wal-Mart, JoAnn's, JCPenney, and IKEA. I'm sure I'm forgetting some, but the point is we did a lot of shopping which is always FUN!
Sweets...so good you wish they didn't have a hole!
Nothing bundt cakes

We went through four 8 inch cakes in a week. Chocolate, Marble, White Chocolate Raspberry, and Pecan Praline! They were all so good and I highly recommend getting your "bundt" there if you haven't tried them yet!! Delicious!!
Sewing...
We got several projects done while they were here including cute handbags that I learned to do at Card Club a couple of months ago. I was proud of myself for remembering everything to do...My Mom, sister, and I made one and we made two more for our sisters who couldn't join the party this time...(I know they've been dying to see pictures) LOL!
My Mom was also able to design my card for card club this month...I told her I wanted something with flip flops and she took care of the rest, she is super talented in this department...Thanks Mom!
Surgery...
I debated whether or not to share this info. or not but it has been a big part of our life recently and as long as I'm blogging about life...Life isn't always happy, fun things, it also has it's downs and not so fun things. So, I ended up having a D&C while my family was here. I was only a little over 6 weeks when we found out the embryo had just stopped growing. After talking it over and thinking it all the way through, I opted for the D&C, instead of the wait it out method. Just getting it over with was the right choice for me at the time. I'm so glad my family was here, not only was I grateful they could watch the boys but also for their love and support, and it was nice to not have to dwell on it but keep my mind occupied with other things. My OB/GYN was amazing and I'm so glad they took all my questions and concerns seriously and we found out what was going on so early! So, if anyone is in the market, I got a good one!
Anyways, it was a great visit and I'm so glad they got to come, the cousins had a blast together which deserves a whole other post of it's own. More to come on cousin fun...

hey, you had alot going on! I can't believe your family was there for that long, how fun! Was it just your parents visiting?
I hope you're feeling better now! I have never had to go through that and I don't think I ever will happen since I'm done having kids, but I thought it was a good thing for you to share! And that is lucky to have your mom there for that!
BTW those flipflop invites are so cute!

I am seriously impressed with those bags! I was so stressed doing the first one, I'm not sure I'll attempt another. You're so talented.
I am so sorry to hear your news, I hope that you are feeling better now and am glad that you had your family close while going through something so hard. =) It looks like you and your family had some fun while they were here too, I love all the cute bags and your cards were really cute too. Shopping is always fun and that cake looks delish. =)

I'm glad your family was up here during everything...I'm sure it helped out a ton! We miss y'all and I know Chance starts kindergarten in like a week, so maybe we'll have to drive up there this week sometime!:)
Audrey, I'm so sorry to hear about your bad news and surgery. I hope you are feeling better. All of the bags turned out professional! Very nice. I must get me some cake!!
I'm so sorry about your loss, where would we be without family to help and support us. I hope you recover quickly physically and emotionally:) you are so talented, those bags are awesome!! lucky girls!
So sorry about your surgery. BUMMER! My heart and prayers go out to you and your family. It looks like the bags turned out great! I have bought material to make 3 more, but the whole measuring thing kidda freaks me out. Let me know if I can do ANYTHING for you! I missed seeing you at card club....Heather A.
Sounds like you have been going through a lot lately. Things will look up for you though, You guys have such a cute little family. You are lucky to have such great support from your family. I know how hard it is to have them live so far...I guess we are in the same boat that way....If you never need anything I am just right down the street. For some reason on Sunday Jake was having pretend conversations with Dodger and Chris, so I am guessing that it is your Dodger and Chris he's been talking about. I didn't think he knew him very well but it made me think that we should get our boys together. They would play good I think! Your card was so cute...the apple doesn't fall far from the tree!
Those bags look so cute. I made one for me, but I didn't have much fun doing it myself. I would of much rather been with you guys!!(Thanks so much for sending the pattern to me!) I think I'm going to try another one in the small size, but this time I think Melissa will sew with me!
We all sure miss you around here and hope to see you soon!
